Yuvraj Singh approached the Delhi High Court seeking the appointment of an arbitrator to evaluate a property-related dispute with a Delhi-based real estate firm.
The dispute was related to the delay in delivery and poor quality of materials used in the flat booked by Yuvraj Singh.
The builder terminated the agreement and refused to refund the amount Singh had paid, let alone provide compensation for the delay and poor quality materials.
The MoU allowed the builder to use Singh's name to promote the property until November last year, but the builder continued to exploit his brand value even after the deadline.
The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to the real estate firm, seeking a response to Singh's petition.
