Abhijit Narayan Gorad is a resident of Upale-Mayani, Kadegaon Taluka, Sangli District, who has been found to have taken admission of his daughter under the RTE quota despite having a property worth crores.
The annual turnover of Gorad's clothing shop is Rs 1.5 crores, although the actual figure is said to be Rs Three crores.
An investigation is demanded against Gorad because he took admission of his daughter under the RTE quota despite having a high financial background, depriving a needy student of the opportunity.
The request to the government is to take strict action against Gorad as soon as possible.
