Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advises J.P. Morgan on Setting Up Asia’s Largest Global Capability Centre
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) has advised J.P. Morgan Services India Private Limited (JPM) on the establishment of Asia’s largest Global Capability Centre (GCC). The landmark lease agreement involves approximately 1.3 million square feet of built-to-suit office space in the proposed tech park called “One Forest Avenue” in Powai, Mumbai. This deal is the largest single-user office leasing transaction in India to date.
The lease agreement was entered into with BSS Property Ventures Private Limited and Rajeshwar Property Ventures Private Limited, both affiliates of Brookfield Properties. The transaction was supervised by Namrata Kolar, Partner and Head of Real Estate at CAM.
The deal team was led by Harsha Sudhindra and Jaideep Kodali, both Partners at CAM, with support from Solomon Sone, an Associate. Siddharth Hariani, another Partner at CAM, along with Piyush Langde, Yashvi Shah, and Anjali Kadam, all Senior Associates and Associates, conducted the title due diligence for this transaction.
