The Delhi Police arrested Yasin Sheikh, a man from Pune, for cyber stalking and defaming a 38-year-old woman.
The accused posted the woman's photos with offensive comments on social media, wrote her phone number in public places, and created multiple Instagram accounts in her name with derogatory remarks.
The police scanned the call records of the accused's mobile number and IP addresses to track him down and apprehend him during raids.
The accused claimed he was retaliating because the woman's husband, who was his girlfriend's boss, did not heed his request to distance himself from his girlfriend.
The girlfriend denied having an affair with the accused and stated that she had unfriended him on social media after noticing his obsessive behavior.
