Dindoshi–Film City Flyover Inaugurated: Mumbai Connectivity Boost
By GeoSquare News Desk · Published 2026-10-26

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has virtually inaugurated the much-awaited Dindoshi–Film City flyover in Mumbai. The new infrastructure is expected to significantly improve east–west connectivity in the city, particularly for residents and commuters in the western suburbs.
Better connectivity, shorter travel time
The flyover connects Dindoshi in Goregaon to the Film City junction, easing movement towards the western express highway and key business hubs. It is expected to reduce travel time and decongest internal roads, making daily commutes smoother for office-goers and families living in nearby localities.
Real estate impact
Improved road infrastructure often acts as a catalyst for property demand. Localities such as Goregaon, Malad, Dindoshi and the areas around Film City are likely to see increased interest from homebuyers and investors. Better connectivity to the rest of Mumbai could also support price stability and rental demand in the mid-income and luxury segments.
For property buyers, the flyover adds to the existing infrastructure momentum in the western suburbs, which already benefits from metro corridors and the upcoming coastal road. While the full impact will depend on completion of surrounding projects, the improved link is a positive signal for long-term capital appreciation.
