Real Estate:New Delhi, Jul 13 (PTI) India's largest real estate firm, DLF, has seen a substantial increase in the remuneration of its Chairman, Rajiv Singh. According to the company's latest annual report, Singh's remuneration rose by 34% to ₹36.65 crore in the last fiscal year, up from ₹27.30 crore in the previous financial year. This significant increase is attributed to the company's better performance and financial health.

The majority of Singh's remuneration, ₹34.53 crore, was in the form of commission. The Board approved the commission/variable pay to the Chairman, as well as the company's two Managing Directors, Ashok Kumar Tyagi and Devinder Singh, for the fiscal year 2024-25. The commission was based on the achievement of targeted business parameters such as consolidated profit after tax, cash flows, and construction spends, among others.

Ashok Kumar Tyagi, one of DLF's Managing Directors, received ₹14.16 crore as remuneration for 2024-25, marking a nearly 5% increase from ₹13.52 crore in the previous year. Of this amount, ₹8.77 crore was in the form of commission. Similarly, Devinder Singh, the other Managing Director, also saw his remuneration increase by nearly 5% to ₹14.16 crore for the last fiscal year, up from ₹13.52 crore in 2023-24. Singh also received ₹8.77 crore as commission.

Tyagi and Devinder Singh were appointed as Managing Directors effective August 4, 2023. DLF, the largest real estate firm in India by market capitalization, has reported a strong financial performance in the last fiscal year. The company's net profit increased to ₹4,366.82 crore in 2024-25 from ₹2,723.53 crore in the preceding year. Total income also saw a significant rise, increasing to ₹8,995.89 crore in the last fiscal year from ₹6,958.34 crore in 2023-24.

On the operational front, DLF reported record sales bookings of ₹21,223 crore in 2024-25, a 44% increase from ₹14,778 crore in the preceding financial year. The company has set an ambitious target to sell housing properties worth ₹20,000-22,000 crore during the 2025-26 fiscal year.

Since its inception, DLF has developed more than 185 real estate projects and over 352 million square feet of area. The DLF Group has a development potential of 280 million square feet across residential and commercial segments, including current projects under execution and the identified pipeline. The group also boasts an annuity portfolio of over 45 million square feet.
