Real Estate:Aurangabad witnessed a significant surge in transactions across multiple sectors on the occasion of Dussehra. The positive vibe created by announcements of investments by multinational companies and a satisfactory rainfall has led to increased consumer spending. Marketplaces were bustling with activity, recording transactions worth crores of rupees throughout the day.

Customers started flocking to the markets in the afternoon after performing their puja at home. Despite the high gold prices, jewelry showrooms saw a huge influx of shoppers, particularly women. New jewelry stores that recently opened in the city also contributed to the high sales. Most customers preferred branded jewelry, and the purchasing activity in large showrooms extended well into the night. According to the jewellers' association, transactions on Saturday were estimated to be around Rs 10 to 12 crore.

The electronics market also saw a significant boost. Customers were particularly inclined to purchase big televisions, the latest mobile phones, fridges, ACs, washing machines, music systems, and other gadgets. The festive mood and special discounts offered by retailers played a key role in driving these sales.

The real estate sector reported a notable 35 percent increase in business compared to last year. officials from the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) attributed this growth to the positive economic outlook and satisfactory rainfall. Customers were booking flats, bungalows, row houses, and plots in advance, viewing real estate as a reliable investment option.

The vehicle market was equally vibrant, with people purchasing both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Many had pre-booked their vehicles and took delivery on Dussehra. Showroom owners reported that over 2,000 two-wheelers from various companies and around 150 four-wheelers were sold on Saturday. The festive season is expected to continue driving sales until Diwali.

Traders are optimistic that the positive trend in the markets will continue until Diwali, buoyed by the festive spirit and economic confidence. This surge in sales across different sectors is a clear indicator of the robust economic activity in Aurangabad.
