Real Estate Pune:In a shocking incident, a gang took over a 25-guntha plot and bungalow belonging to a 69-year-old woman in Katraj, Pune. The woman was visiting her daughter in the United States of America (USA) when the gang scaled the boundary wall and forcibly broke the lock to gain entry into her property. Upon her return, she was threatened with death if she tried to reclaim her property.

The woman's husband had purchased the land in 1993, and a bungalow was constructed in 2004. After his demise in 2005, she hired a man named Vilas Sasane to manage the property. During her visits to Pune from the USA, she occasionally checked on the property. However, on 12th June, while she was in the USA, Vilas Sasane informed her that a group of eight to nine women had illegally entered the bungalow premises by force, breaking the lock. Concerned, she returned to Pune on 26th June with all relevant documents.

Upon her arrival at the bungalow, the women and their accomplices forcefully ejected her from the premises. An investigation revealed that the acquisition was based on fraudulent documents. The police have filed a case against Dahalat Gaikwad, Amar Pawar, Ramesh Pawar, Rakesh Bhan, and Manoj Kamble at the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station.

Assistant Police Inspector Mithun Pardeshi is handling the investigation. The incident highlights the growing concern of property fraud and the need for increased vigilance to protect one's property.
