Embassy Developments Aims for Rs 5000 Crore Pre-Sales in FY26

Embassy Developments Ltd (EDL), one of India's leading real estate companies, is poised to achieve a significant milestone in the coming fiscal year. According to a top company official, the firm's sales bookings are expected to jump to Rs 5000 crore in FY26, marking a substantial increase from previous years.

In an interview with PTI, EDL Managing Director Aditya Virwani highlighted that the company's business activities have gained momentum following the takeover of Indiabulls Real Estate (IBREL). Virwani noted that the company has already sold properties worth approximately Rs 2000 crore in the first nine months of the current fiscal year.

Looking ahead, Virwani expressed confidence that the company will be able to sell housing properties worth Rs 3000 crore during the current quarter. This optimism is fueled by the launch of new residential projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and the sustained sales in existing projects.

Embassy Developments has been making significant strides in the real estate sector, with a focus on completing legacy projects and launching new developments. Last year, the company raised equity funds to expedite construction activities across ongoing projects. Virwani recently announced a Rs 7000 crore investment in the Mumbai market to build three new luxury housing projects and complete three ongoing properties.

The new projects include the Embassy Citadel in Worli, which will feature 316 units and is expected to generate nearly Rs 9000 crore in revenue. In Juhu, EDL will develop 50 units with an estimated revenue of Rs 3000 crore. Additionally, the company will build 111 units in Alibaug, projecting a revenue of Rs 400 crore.

Apart from launching new projects, EDL is also investing in the completion of three legacy housing projects in the MMR, comprising around 5000 units. These efforts are part of the company's broader strategy to capitalize on the strong demand for housing in key markets.

Bengaluru-based Embassy Group, established in 1993, has developed around 75 million square feet of saleable area, primarily in office spaces. EDL, formerly known as Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd, is one of the leading real estate companies in the country, with a significant presence in Bengaluru, MMR, Delhi-NCR, Chennai, and Indore markets.

The company's ambitious plans and strategic investments are expected to drive its growth and solidify its position as a leader in the Indian real estate sector. With a strong focus on delivering high-quality residential and commercial properties, Embassy Developments is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for housing and office spaces across the country.

The company's success is a testament to its commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainable development. As the real estate market continues to evolve, Embassy Developments remains committed to delivering value to its stakeholders and contributing to the development of vibrant communities across India.
