Real Estate Maharashtra:In a significant CSR initiative, IndoSpace, India's largest developer and manager of Grade A industrial real estate, has collaborated with Magic Bus India Foundation to empower women from rural Maharashtra. The Young Women Fellowship Programme (YWFP) has successfully graduated its first cohort of 52 women, selected from areas around Chakan and Khopoli in Maharashtra, where IndoSpace operates two large logistic parks.

The programme aims to equip every woman with life skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and leadership skills necessary to become self-reliant and change agents for their communities. The comprehensive programme included a rigorous candidate screening, identification and enrolment process, followed by extensive training modules, exposure visits, personality enhancement, business acumen skills workshop, and mentoring sessions. Participants engaged in practical tasks, and the programme culminated with the implementation of several community leadership projects and new business set-ups.

The graduating young women were felicitated by the management of IndoSpace and provided with certificates and business kits. Rajesh Jaggi, Vice Chairman – Real Estate, The Everstone Group, emphasized that empowering women is not just a moral imperative but also a critical driver of economic and social progress. He further stated that IndoSpace's women empowerment projects are designed to create lasting impact by focusing on education, health, economic empowerment, and community development.

Jayant Rastogi, Global CEO, Magic Bus India Foundation, highlighted that empowering women through the Young Women Fellowship Programme is a pivotal step towards economic and social progress. He added that by equipping women with essential life skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and leadership skills, they are fostering self-reliance and enabling them to become catalysts of change within their communities.
