Empowering Women in Real Estate: Staying Updated and Overcoming Challenges
Real Estate Pune:The real estate sector is witnessing significant changes due to various factors such as changing laws, regulations, enactments, plans, redevelopment projects, taxation, digitalization, and AI technology. To stay ahead in the game, women realtors must be aware of these changes and adapt to the new landscape.

This was emphasized by G. Ram Reddy, Secretary of CREDAI National, at the Femicon 2.0 conference organized by the Women Wing of CREDAI Maharashtra.Over 150 women developers from all over Maharashtra participated in the two-day conference held at Nashik. The event saw prominent women realtors Dr. Dipali Gandhi, Meenakshi Jhamtani, Shraddha Mantri, and Sapna Rathi being awarded for their exceptional work in the construction field.

Pramod Khairnar Patil, President of CREDAI Maharashtra, noted that women are breaking the glass ceiling in the male-dominated construction sector. The conference featured in-depth discussions on real estate, politics, media, marketing, finance, and current trends in the industry.The Famicon conference founders, Deval Soparkar and Pallavi Matkari-Runwal, discussed opportunities for women in the construction sector.

MLA Madhuri Misal and Pooja Misal, Founder of SMEF’s Brick Group of Industries, stressed the importance of education and skills for women. Women and Child Welfare Officer R. Vimla shared her journey and provided guidance on policies and schemes for women entrepreneurs.

Savita Agarwal of the Youth Wing shared her experience transitioning from a doctor to a developer. Nita Shivdasani of Waterfield Advisors, Murali Krishnan of Spears, and Sara Jacob of Trine Holdings discussed investment opportunities. Shruti Patil presented on the importance of AI, while Ujjwala Hawre, Rakhi Takle, Sangeeta Dhaygude, and Sumit Mudiraj also spoke at the event.
