The power couple’s four-bedroom home can easily be described as palatial, owing to their 13-foot-high ceiling in the living room and walls adorned with rich wooden panels. Kohli and Sharma have personalized their television nook with accessories and tidbits like personalized drawings, candles, and souvenirs. The main highlight of a Mumbai home like this is, of course, the balcony, which offers sweeping views of the majestic Arabian Sea. This is one of the couple’s favorite spots to unwind, and an integral part of their festive celebrations.

The prized jewel of Kohli’s real estate portfolio is his home in Gurgaon, which the Financial Express reported to be valued at INR 80 crores on purchase, making it one of the most expensive homes to have been purchased by a cricketer. The home is located in one of the wealthiest areas of the city—DLF City Phase 1. Spread across 10,000 square feet, the space is furnished with many modern amenities, including a state-of-the-art home gym that is almost a necessity for high-performing athletes like him.

When the bustle of the city gets too much, the cricketer likes to retreat into his biophilic and luxurious retreat in Alibag. A balmy beachscape, notoriously labeled as The Hamptons of India, after Bollywood biggies—Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh, to name a few—found addresses here, Alibag is quieter, cleaner, more verdant, and offers glamorously expansive properties, which has been the prime attraction for celebrities. Except for Virat, there’s more than meets the eye. He shares, “Honestly, it’s the proximity to Mumbai. Here, we have a completely different world, a home away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
