A maid named Reena (32) was arrested in Ghaziabad for allegedly mixing urine into the dough used for making rotis.
The alleged act was discovered when the house owner’s wife, Rupam, noticed her family members experiencing liver problems and began monitoring the maid’s activities in the kitchen. The house owner, Nitin Gautam, secretly recorded a video that captured the maid mixing urine into the flour.
Reena claimed that she was motivated by a desire for revenge after being frequently scolded by her employer for minor mistakes.
Reena was booked under Section 272 of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with malignant acts likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life.
