The GHMC reported a total revenue of Rs. 759.98 crore from real estate approvals and occupancy certificates between April and August 2025.
The GHMC saw a 90% increase in revenue compared to the same period last year, when they earned Rs. 399.61 crore.
The growth in real estate revenue for GHMC is attributed to favorable policies, rising foreign direct investment, higher office space occupancy, and increased residential sales, as well as the positive sentiment created by the H-CITI infrastructure projects.
The H-CITI project aims to transform Hyderabad into a global IT and innovation hub by enhancing the city’s infrastructure. It includes the construction of multi-level flyovers, grade separators, underpasses, and road-widening works, which have boosted investor confidence in the real estate sector.
During the five-month period from April to August 2025, the GHMC issued a total of 4,389 building permissions and 1,008 occupancy certificates.
