Godrej Properties Launches New Plotted Township in Panipat, Haryana
Real Estate:Godrej Properties Ltd, a leading real estate firm, has announced its entry into Panipat, Haryana, to develop its fourth residential plotted township in North India. The project, spanning 43 acres in Sector 40, Panipat, is poised to offer nearly 1.02 million square feet of plotted residential development.

The acquisition of the 43-acre plot is a strategic move that aligns with Godrej Properties' expansion plans. The project is expected to generate a revenue potential in excess of Rs 1,250 crore, according to a company statement. The location is strategically advantageous, with easy access to the national highway and proximity to various social infrastructure facilities.

Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO of Godrej Properties, expressed his enthusiasm about the new project. “We are thrilled to announce our entry into Panipat. This project is a testament to our commitment to expanding into new markets and delivering high-quality plotted townships. Haryana has been a key market for us, and we are excited to develop a township that will create long-term value for its residents,” he said.

The development in Panipat is part of Godrej Properties' broader strategy to tap into the growing demand for well-planned residential communities. Recently, the company achieved significant success with the sale of over 1,450 flats in Bengaluru, generating more than Rs 2,000 crore in revenue. This strong performance reflects the increasing consumer preference for thoughtfully designed communities that offer a blend of lifestyle, connectivity, and long-term value.

Godrej MSR City, another major township project by the company, has a developable potential of around 5.6 million square feet. With significant unlaunched inventory remaining, Godrej Properties plans to capitalize on the ongoing demand in the coming years. “The robust demand for our projects underscores the market's appreciation for quality and innovation in real estate development,” added Gaurav Pandey.

Despite a 20% year-on-year decline in housing sales across the top seven cities in India, as reported by Anarock, there is a 3% quarter-on-quarter (Q-o-Q) uptick in sales, suggesting that the market may be regaining momentum. This positive trend is partly attributed to easing domestic uncertainties and supportive monetary policies.

Godrej Properties, known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, continues to be a leader in the Indian real estate sector. The company's entry into Panipat is a significant step towards meeting the growing demand for well-planned residential communities in North India.
