Godrej Properties Sets New Sales Record of Rs 28,800 Crore in 2024
Real Estate:Godrej Properties, one of India's leading real estate developers, has announced record property sales of Rs 28,800 crore in 2024.
This achievement marks the highest sales among all listed real estate companies in the country, driven by robust demand for its housing projects in major cities.

In a significant milestone, Godrej Properties reported that its booking value grew by 69% compared to the previous year.
The company sold a total area of 26.38 million square feet, representing a volume growth of 54%.
These impressive figures have solidified Godrej Properties' position as a leader in the Indian real estate market.

Pirojsha Godrej, Executive Chairperson of Godrej Properties, expressed her satisfaction with the company's performance.
She stated, 'We have delivered a record-breaking calendar year 2024 with our highest ever bookings, collections, operating cashflows, earnings, and deliveries.'

The company's success is attributed to its strategic focus on key markets.
The Delhi-NCR region contributed the most to pre-sales, racking up Rs 9,936 crore.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) followed with Rs 9,177 crore, and Bengaluru contributed Rs 5,303 crore.
These regions continue to be hotspots for real estate investments, driven by their economic growth and high demand for quality housing solutions.

Godrej Properties launched 30 new projects in 2024, including new phases of existing projects, with a sales potential of Rs 34,300 crore.
The company also delivered 18 million square feet of area, further enhancing its reputation for timely project completions.

In addition to its strong sales performance, Godrej Properties has been actively acquiring land to expand its portfolio.
Last year, the company acquired 16 land parcels with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 36,250 crore, positioning it for future growth.

Financially, Godrej Properties reported a significant improvement in its profitability.
The company's consolidated net profit surged by more than 2.5 times to Rs 162.64 crore in the December quarter, up from Rs 62.27 crore in the same period last year.

For the April-December period of the 2024-25 fiscal, Godrej Properties' net profit reached Rs 1,017.90 crore, compared to Rs 254.01 crore in the same period last year.
Total income for this period rose to Rs 4,285.99 crore, up from Rs 2,419.40 crore.
