Real Estate News:Godrej Properties, a prominent player in the Indian real estate market, has set a new benchmark with its record-breaking sales performance in 2024.
The company sold properties worth Rs 28,800 crore during the calendar year, marking the highest sales among all listed real estate companies in the country.
This impressive achievement is a testament to the strong demand for Godrej’s housing projects and the company's strategic land acquisitions.

The Delhi-NCR and Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) were the primary contributors to this remarkable success, with pre-sales amounting to Rs 9,936 crore and Rs 9,177 crore, respectively.
Bengaluru also played a significant role, contributing Rs 5,303 crore to the total sales.

Pirojsha Godrej, the Executive Chairperson of Godrej Properties, highlighted the company's exceptional performance, stating, 'We delivered a record-breaking calendar year 2024 with our highest ever bookings, collections, operating cashflows, earnings, and deliveries.'

Godrej Properties launched 30 new projects in 2024, including new phases of existing developments, with a sales potential of Rs 34,300 crore.
The company also delivered 18 million square feet of area, further solidifying its position in the market.

In addition to its successful sales, Godrej Properties has been actively acquiring land, securing 16 land parcels last year.
These acquisitions have an estimated revenue potential of Rs 36,250 crore, positioning the company for continued growth in the coming years.

Financially, Godrej Properties reported a significant jump in its consolidated net profit, which more than doubled to Rs 162.64 crore in the December quarter, compared to Rs 62.27 crore in the same period of the previous year.
The company's total income also saw a substantial increase, more than doubling to Rs 1,239.97 crore from Rs 548.31 crore.

For the April-December period of the 2024-25 fiscal year, the net profit surged to Rs 1,017.90 crore, up from Rs 254.01 crore in the same period of the previous year.
Total income for this period rose to Rs 4,285.99 crore, compared to Rs 2,419.40 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year.
