Real Estate News:Ahmedabad Gujarat’s Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel officially inaugurated the 'Property Show GUJCON' organized by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) in Ahmedabad.
The event, which took place on a recent Friday, was aimed at fostering growth in the real estate sector and promoting affordable housing solutions.

In his address, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to revise the concept of affordable housing, particularly focusing on the construction of more 1BHK and 2BHK units.
He stressed that the government is ready to engage in discussions with developers to understand their requirements and facilitate the construction of such homes.

CM Patel also highlighted the importance of ensuring that all the benefits and concessions, such as 'jantri' connections and FSI (Floor Space Index) relaxations, reach the end consumers, i.e., the house buyers.
He praised the efforts of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government, noting that millions of affordable houses have been built across the country under his leadership.

The Chief Minister called on builders and developers to collaborate with the government to increase the number of affordable houses for the common people.
He assured that the state government is committed to providing all possible incentives and relief measures to support the construction of affordable housing.

Prime Minister Modi, who previously served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, had previously urged builders to support the distribution of nutrition kits to help achieve the goal of a free India.
CM Patel appreciated CREDAI’s efforts in increasing green cover, constructing green buildings, and renovating schools.

The Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi, commended the Chief Minister for his leadership in promoting the growth of the real estate sector.
He mentioned that under CM Bhupendra Patel’s guidance, the state government is adopting policies to protect the interests of the administrative system, developers, and house buyers.
Sanghavi also noted that Ahmedabad is rapidly transforming into a major international city, which will require significant construction and investment.

To further support the real estate industry, the Chief Minister launched CREDAI’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
An MOU was also signed between CEPT University and CREDAI to introduce training courses for plumbers and electricians, aimed at enhancing the skills of the workforce in the construction sector.

Dhruv Patel, President of CREDAI, expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for doubling the incentives for the construction of green buildings, which has significantly encouraged the development of eco-friendly structures in the state.

The event was attended by Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Behin Jain, Chairman of the Standing Committee Dewang Dani, and several other prominent figures from the real estate sector and CREDAI.
The occasion marked a significant step in the state's efforts to boost the real estate market and promote sustainable development.
