Gujarat: The Prime Destination for Real Estate Development, CM Bhupendra Patel Urges Investment
NEW DELHI, Dec 19: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has urged real estate developers to invest in the state, emphasizing the vast business opportunities and streamlined project approval processes. Patel noted that Gujarat has become a prime destination for real estate activities and a role model for well-planned urban development.
Addressing the national conclave of CREDAI, the apex body of real estate developers, Patel encouraged real estate players to explore business opportunities at GIFT City and the upcoming Dholera Industrial City in Gujarat. He emphasized the importance of focusing on environmentally friendly projects and sustainable development.
“The prime minister has given a vision of making India a developed nation by 2047. The real estate sector will play a crucial role in achieving this goal,” Patel said. He stressed the need for collaboration between the government and the real estate industry to achieve 'Housing for All.'
Patel also urged developers to incorporate India’s rich heritage into their projects while leveraging modern construction technology. “Real estate players should focus on sustainable development. The construction of homes, offices, and malls should be environmentally friendly,” he added.
Highlighting the state's achievements, Patel mentioned that Gujarat has implemented a single-window clearance system for project approvals, ensuring a time-bound process. Land records in the state are fully digitized, making the approval process more efficient. “We have determined fixed timelines for giving all necessary approvals for real estate development. Therefore, all top developers of the country are ready to invest in Gujarat,” Patel said.
The chief minister also emphasized Gujarat's commitment to promoting green buildings and renewable energy projects. He noted that the state is becoming a hub for various industries, including semiconductors, with significant infrastructure developments underway at Dholera Industrial City, which spans over 920 square kilometers.
Patel further urged developers to focus on building livable, sustainable, and future-ready projects. “Gujarat is the best destination for real estate development, and we invite real estate players to explore the numerous opportunities available in GIFT City and Dholera Industrial City,” he concluded.
The state's proactive approach to urban planning, efficient approval processes, and focus on sustainability make it an attractive destination for real estate investment. Real estate developers are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities and contribute to the state's growth and development.
