The expo, which will run until October 6, 2024, has already attracted over 75,000 homebuyers, a number that is nearly triple that of the previous year. This significant increase in registration indicates a strong demand for home ownership across various locations and price points, further enhanced by attractive offers.
Prashant Sharma, President of NAREDCO Maharashtra, emphasized the importance of the expo during the inauguration. “The HOMETHON Property Expo will be a game changer for the MMR real estate sector. With over ₹10,000 crore of inventories up for sale and 77+ new projects launched, this expo will play a pivotal role in addressing the region’s housing demands. It’s the perfect platform for developers and buyers to connect, and with such a diverse range of offerings, we believe there’s something for everyone,” he said.
To further boost the real estate ecosystem, NAREDCO Maharashtra has launched the 'Redevelopment Council' initiative. This special window at the expo is designed to assist housing societies from across the MMR and other parts of Maharashtra with their redevelopment proposals. Over 4,000 housing societies have already registered to seek redevelopment advice.
HOMETHON Property Expo 2024 is also taking a step towards sustainability by planning to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra. This initiative, aimed at promoting eco-friendly and sustainable urban development, will be spearheaded by the Maharashtra State Agriculture Price Commission, chaired by Shri Pasha Patel.
