Hotel Room Heist: Woman Arrested for Stealing Rs 6 Lakh from Friend's Room in Indore
Real Estate:In a surprising turn of events, a woman from Chhattisgarh was arrested for stealing a bag containing Rs 6 lakh from her friend's hotel room in the Lasudia area of Indore. The incident occurred on Saturday, June 17, when Harish Kumar Patel, a resident of Ujjain, came to the city to collect the money from a person. Patel, who runs a construction business, stayed at a hotel in Lasudia, where his friend Tamanna came to meet him. After having dinner together, Tamanna left, and Patel went to sleep. However, when he woke up the next morning, he found that his bag containing the money was missing from his room.

Patel suspected that Tamanna might be involved in the theft and reported the incident to the police. The police checked the CCTV footage of the hotel and found Tamanna's presence in the area. Acting on a tip-off, the police reached Mahalaxmi Nagar area and arrested Tamanna. Initially, she tried to mislead the police, but later confessed to her crime. The stolen bag was recovered from the bushes near her house, and Tamanna was arrested.

According to the police, Tamanna became greedy after seeing the huge amount of money and stole the bag. This incident highlights the need for individuals to be cautious when dealing with large sums of money, especially in public places. It also underscores the importance of installing CCTV cameras in hotels and other public areas to prevent such crimes.
