CCS police in Hyderabad have dismantled a real estate investment scam, arresting a couple and eight others for defrauding investors of Rs 7.66 crore.

The prime suspects in the real estate scam are Ahmed Sohel Harmoon, also known as Ahmed Sohel, and his wife Sheeba Arshad.
The investors were defrauded of Rs 7.66 crore.
The company used to carry out the scam was named Classic Homes India Pvt. Ltd.
The accused promised high returns on investments and initially made timely payouts to gain the trust of potential investors.
A total of 10 people, including the couple, have been arrested in connection with the scam.
