Hyderabad Realtor Fatally Stabbed by Ex-Employee in Public Over Job Dispute
Real Estate News:In a shocking incident that has left the local community in Hyderabad stunned, a 45-year-old real estate businessman was stabbed to death in broad daylight by one of his former employees outside his office on Friday.

The deceased, identified as Srikanth Reddy, a resident of the city’s HB Colony, was fatally attacked by Dhanraj, who had been fired from his job approximately 20 days prior. Dhanraj was known for his unprofessional behavior, often coming to work in an inebriated state and creating problems for Reddy.

Kushaiguda ACP Y Venkat Reddy, speaking to the media, stated, “Dhanraj used to come to work in an inebriated condition and used to create problems for Reddy. Unable to bear this unprofessionalism, Reddy terminated Dhanraj’s employment around 20 days ago.” Despite being dismissed, Dhanraj continued to visit Reddy’s office repeatedly, pressuring him to reinstate him.

On Friday afternoon, Dhanraj, accompanied by his friend Daniel, met Reddy at his office and borrowed Rs 1,200 from him to buy liquor. After consuming alcohol, the duo returned to the office around 5:30 pm. Dhanraj demanded a job once again, but Reddy asked him to return on Tuesday.

When Dhanraj persisted, Reddy decided to leave the office. As he stepped out, the two men followed him. “They suddenly attacked Srikanth with a knife. On Dhanraj’s instructions, Daniel stabbed Srikanth to death in the lane in front of his office,” the ACP said. Following the attack, the duo fled the scene.

Locals quickly alerted the police, and the Kushaiguda team arrived at the spot to secure the area and shift the body for a postmortem examination. A case has been registered under Section 103(1) (murder) of the BNS. Authorities have launched a manhunt to apprehend Dhanraj and Daniel, and police are examining CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to track the suspects.

This incident has raised concerns about workplace safety and the need for better conflict resolution mechanisms. Srikanth Reddy was well-known in the real estate community for his contributions to the industry, and his sudden and violent death has left many in disbelief. The police are urging anyone with information about the suspects to come forward and assist in the investigation.
