Real Estate Pune:New Delhi: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has officially opened applications for the Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical (JIO-II/Tech) Examination from today. This is a significant opportunity for candidates aspiring to join the IB, with a total of 394 vacancies announced.

Category-wise Vacancy Distribution:
General: 157 posts
EWS: 32 posts
OBC: 117 posts
SC: 60 posts
ST: 28 posts

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at www.mha.gov.in until 11:59 pm on 14 September 2025. The application fee can be paid until 16 September 2025.

Salary and Benefits:
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100. This includes various benefits and allowances as per the government norms.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must hold either a diploma in engineering from a recognized Indian institute or a graduate degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics. Additional prescribed eligibility criteria must also be met.

Age Limit:
Applicants should be between 18 and 27 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable as per category:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years

Selection Process:
The selection will be conducted in multiple stages:
Written Examination (Tier-1):
Duration: 2 hours
Marks: 100
Negative marking: One-third of marks for incorrect answers
Tier-2 Examination:
Marks: 30
Candidates qualifying in Tier-1 will appear for this stage
Interview:
Candidates who clear Tier-2 will be called for a personal interview
