This decision has been made mutually and amicably, with a shared recognition that both firms have grown and evolved in ways that make this a natural and positive step forward. The two firms are proud of the work accomplished together and grateful for the strong foundation built during their collaboration with a shared history marked by mutual respect and professional synergy, IC Legal stated in its release.
As part of the new chapter, IC Legal has announced the formation of a specialized and independently operated legal entity - IC RegFin Legal, which has been created to enhance operational efficiency and provide a deeper sectoral focus by housing IC Legal’s financial services legal regulatory practice.
Tejesh Chitlangi, the Joint Managing Partner of the erstwhile IC Universal Legal and an expert in the financial services legal-regulatory space, will be spearheading IC RegFin Legal’s current 125+ pan India team as its Managing Partner.
