IHCL Launches New Gateway Hotel in Jaipur, Expanding Its Footprint
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Gateway hotel in Mahapura, Jaipur. This is a greenfield project, marking a significant step in IHCL's expansion strategy in the region.
Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development at IHCL, stated, “Witnessing a surge in demand beyond its traditional leisure and MICE segments, Jaipur has evolved into a multifaceted destination. The city’s infrastructural growth and its emergence as a commercial center have made it a hub for business travel. Gateway Mahapura, Jaipur will cater to this rising demand. We are delighted to partner with Shri Modi Group for this project.”
The new Gateway Mahapura, Jaipur is strategically located along NH48 Jaipur Ajmer Road. The 161-key hotel will serve as a gateway to the city’s rich cultural heritage. It will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a bar. Recreational amenities will include a swimming pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Designed to cater to both leisure and business travelers, the hotel will also house a spacious banquet hall spanning over 9,000 square feet, ideal for weddings, conferences, and social gatherings.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 16 hotels in Jaipur, including five under development. This expansion underscores IHCL’s commitment to enhancing its presence in key tourism and business hubs across India.
