Equity inflows into India’s real estate sector rose 48% year-on-year (YoY) to $3.8 billion in Q3 2025, compared to $2.6 billion in Q3 2024.
Total equity investments during the first nine months of 2025 reached $10.2 billion, up 14% YoY from $8.9 billion in the same period last year.
Mumbai emerged as the top destination, capturing 32% of total investment inflows, followed by Pune (18%) and Bengaluru (16%).
Land/development sites and built-up office and retail assets accounted for over 90% of the total capital inflows in Q3 2025.
Developers accounted for 45% of the total equity inflows, while institutional investors contributed 33%.
