JhREDA is the regulatory body established under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA) for the state of Jharkhand. It is responsible for regulating the real estate sector, ensuring transparency, accountability, and consumer protection.
The Adjudicating Officer is responsible for hearing and deciding disputes between real estate developers and homebuyers, ensuring compliance with RERA, and maintaining the integrity of the real estate market.
To be eligible, candidates must have a law degree from a recognized university and at least five years of experience in legal practice, particularly in real estate law. Preference is given to those with experience in adjudication and dispute resolution.
Interested candidates should submit their resumes and a cover letter detailing their relevant experience and qualifications. The selection process includes a written test, a personal interview, and a background check.
The Adjudicating Officer will be appointed for an initial term of three years, with the possibility of extension based on performance. The salary and benefits will be in accordance with JhREDA’s established scales.
