Kalpataru Secures ₹1,400 Crore GDV Redevelopment Project in Andheri West
Kalpataru Limited has signed a redevelopment project for Shree Mahalakshmi CHS in Andheri West, Mumbai, with an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of around ₹1,400 crore. This project marks a significant addition to Kalpataru's pipeline of residential developments, further solidifying its position in the real estate market.
Mumbai's western suburbs continue to see a surge in redevelopment activity, and Kalpataru Limited is at the forefront of this trend. The company has entered into a redevelopment agreement for Shree Mahalakshmi CHS, located off Veera Desai Road in Andheri West. The project spans approximately 3 acres of land and is expected to generate about 0.4 million square feet of carpet area. Once completed, the project will enhance Kalpataru's residential portfolio within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and strengthen its redevelopment pipeline.
Andheri West is one of Mumbai's established residential and commercial micro-markets, offering strong connectivity across the city and access to multiple transport corridors. The area is a preferred residential destination due to its well-established social infrastructure, including schools, colleges, healthcare facilities, retail centres, and entertainment hubs. The presence of major business districts nearby also contributes to sustained residential demand in the area.
