The accused is Aravind Venkatesh Reddy, a 43-year-old film producer, real estate builder, and construction company owner.
Aravind Venkatesh Reddy was arrested at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru after arriving from Sri Lanka. He was detained based on a lookout notice issued following a complaint filed by the victim.
The victim filed a complaint at the Rajarajeshwari Nagar police station under Sections 78 (stalking), 79 (outraging a woman’s modesty), and other provisions of the BNS.
The actress faced various forms of harassment, including being stalked, having her morphed photographs shared online, disturbances at her parents' house, and threats to her brother's life.
The accused, Aravind Venkatesh Reddy, has been taken into custody for further investigation following his arrest at the airport.
