Lodha Developers Acquires 5 Land Parcels in Q3 to Boost Real Estate Projects

Mumbai-based Lodha Developers Ltd, one of the largest real estate developers in India, has acquired five land parcels in the last quarter across Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru. These acquisitions are part of the company's strategic move to develop projects with a combined estimated sales value of nearly Rs 34,000 crore.

Lodha Developers, known for its properties under the Lodha brand, acquires land through outright purchases and partnerships with landowners to create a robust pipeline of future projects. According to the company’s latest operational update on stock exchanges, the five land parcels were acquired in the October-December period of the 2025-26 fiscal year.

The total revenue potential of these five projects is estimated at Rs 33,800 crore. In real estate terminology, this figure represents the gross development value (GDV), which is the estimated sales value of the entire project. Lodha Developers believes that these acquisitions will enhance the company’s visibility of future growth and solidify its market position.

Last month, the company partnered with MRG Group to develop two projects in Gurugram, marking its entry into the Delhi-NCR housing and commercial real estate market. This move is part of Lodha Developers' risk-calibrated approach to capital deployment, ensuring a balanced and strategic expansion.

Lodha Developers noted that the Delhi-NCR region is the second-largest housing market in the country, but there is a significant shortage of trusted quality developers. The company's entry into this market will help meet the housing demand across the top seven Indian cities, serving nearly 80 per cent of the market.

Lodha Developers has a strong presence in the residential markets of Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune, and Bengaluru. In the last fiscal year, the company’s sales bookings increased to Rs 17,630 crore, compared to Rs 14,520 crore in the preceding year. For the current financial year, Lodha has set a sales bookings target of Rs 21,000 crore, a goal it is confident of achieving.

To date, Lodha Developers has delivered 110 million square feet of real estate and is currently developing more than 130 million square feet under its ongoing and planned portfolio. The company’s strategic land acquisitions and partnerships are expected to further strengthen its position in the Indian real estate market and drive sustainable growth.
