Realty firm Lodha Developers Ltd has made significant strides by acquiring five land parcels in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru in the last quarter. These acquisitions, with an estimated sales value of nearly ₹34,000 crore, will bolster the company's project pipeline and future growth.

Mumbai-based Lodha Developers Ltd, known for selling properties under the Lodha brand, has a strategic approach to land acquisition. The company acquires land through outright purchases and partnerships with landowners to ensure a robust pipeline of future projects.

According to the company's latest operational update on stock exchanges, Lodha Developers acquired five land parcels in the October-December period of the 2025-26 fiscal across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru. These acquisitions are expected to develop primarily housing projects, with a total revenue potential of ₹33,800 crore.

The GDV, or Gross Development Value, in real estate parlance, refers to the estimated sales value of the entire project. Lodha Developers believes that the acquisition of these land parcels will provide better visibility and stability for future growth.

Last month, Lodha Developers partnered with MRG Group to develop two projects in Gurugram, marking the company's entry into the Delhi-NCR housing and commercial real estate market. This strategic move reflects Lodha's risk-calibrated approach to capital deployment and highlights the company's confidence in the Delhi-NCR market.

Lodha Developers noted that the Delhi-NCR is the second-largest housing market in the country, but there is a significant shortage of trusted quality developers. The company's entry into this market will enable it to serve nearly 80% of the housing demand across the top seven Indian cities.

Lodha Developers, one of the largest real estate developers in the country, has a strong presence in the residential markets of MMR, Pune, and Bengaluru. During the last fiscal year, the company's sales bookings increased to ₹17,630 crore, up from ₹14,520 crore in the preceding year. For the current financial year, Lodha has set a sales bookings target of ₹21,000 crore, a goal it is confident of achieving.

So far, the company has delivered 110 million sq ft of real estate and is currently developing more than 130 million sq ft under its ongoing and planned portfolio. These acquisitions and strategic partnerships will further strengthen Lodha Developers' position in the Indian real estate market.
