Lodha Developers Reports 42% Q1 Profit Surge to Rs 675 Crore
Real Estate News:Lodha Developers, a prominent real estate firm, has reported a significant 42% surge in its consolidated net profit to Rs 675.1 crore for the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year. This impressive performance is attributed to strong housing demand and better income generation compared to the previous year.

The net profit for the same period last year stood at Rs 475.9 crore. The total income for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal year increased to Rs 3,624.7 crore from Rs 2,918.3 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

Abhishek Lodha, the Managing Director and CEO of Lodha Developers, highlighted that the company achieved its best-ever first-quarter pre-sales performance, amounting to Rs 4,450 crore. He noted that the performance could have been even stronger were it not for two weeks of uncertainty due to the India-Pakistan conflict, which had an adverse impact.

"Structural industry tailwinds, including low home-ownership levels, rising household incomes, strong affordability, low mortgage rates, and an increasing desire for quality homes from branded developers like Lodha, form the cornerstone of our business strategy," Abhishek stated. "We aim to deliver 20% topline growth on a sustainable basis for the foreseeable future."

The company is also benefiting from interest rate reductions and income tax cuts, which have led to a pickup in mid-income demand. "We expect this trend to strengthen in the second half of this fiscal year," Abhishek added.

Lodha Developers has already achieved more than 90% of its FY26 business development guidance in the first quarter alone. The company has added five new projects at marquee locations in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune, and Bengaluru, with a Gross Development Value (GDV) potential of Rs 22,700 crore.

Lodha Developers is one of the leading real estate companies in India, with a strong presence in the residential markets of MMR, Pune, and Bengaluru. The company has delivered 110 million square feet of real estate and is currently developing more than 130 million square feet under its ongoing and planned portfolio.

In the fiscal year 2024-25, the company reported a net profit of Rs 2,766.6 crore on a total income of Rs 14,169.8 crore. This consistent growth and strong market presence position Lodha Developers as a key player in the Indian real estate sector.
