Luxury Real Estate Deals in Pune: A 12,000 sq ft Penthouse Sells for ₹37 Crore
Real Estate Pune:Pune, known for its real estate market, has witnessed a significant deal with the sale of a 12,000 sq ft penthouse for ₹37 crore. Located in Lodha One, Bund Garden, a project by listed real estate developer Macrotech Developers (formerly Lodha), this deal has set a new benchmark in the city's luxury property market.

Over the last two years, Pune has seen 32 apartment registrations in the luxury segment, valued above ₹10 crore. However, this deal surpasses the highest value of ₹18.5 crore, recorded earlier. The penthouse, priced in the range of ₹28,000-29,000 per square foot, has become the most expensive in this segment.

Lodha One, the developer's first luxury project in Pune, offers exclusive services to its residents through Lodha's private hospitality service, Saint Amand. The project, spread across three levels, features a private terrace and pool for the homeowners. The landscape of the project has been designed around two majestic Banyan trees that have been preserved for over 150 years.

In the Pune real estate market, majority of the property registrations are in the range of ₹50 lakh to ₹1 crore. According to Knight Frank India data, in March 2024, out of total over 21,000 property registrations in Pune district, 33% were in the range of ₹50 lakh to ₹1 crore; 32% in ₹25 lakh to ₹50 lakh; 14% in ₹1 crore to ₹5 crore and a little less than 1% in the price range of above ₹5 crore.

This deal indicates a growing demand for luxury properties in Pune, and developers like Macrotech Developers are catering to this demand with their high-end projects.
