Real Estate News:Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Indore is set to host the ‘Madhya Pradesh Growth Conclave’ on July 11 at the Brilliant Convention Centre, where Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will interact with prominent investors and industry leaders from across the country.

The conclave will bring together more than 1,500 participants from key sectors such as real estate, hotel industry, tourism, infrastructure, and urban development. A major discussion will centre around the blueprint for the state’s urban growth, with an emphasis on infrastructure and investment-ready projects.

A grand exhibition will also be organised during the event. There will be extensive participation of CREDAI, hotel industry, tourism, Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC), IDA, Smart City, Metro, HUDCO, LIC, Housing Board, etc. in the event. Schemes and projects related to these will be displayed in the exhibition.

The conclave is an important initiative towards urban development in the state. The event will give a new dimension of investment in the city and in the State.

Key areas for development and investment

The state is inviting investment across multiple verticals including:

Urban transport: Metro, e-bus, multimodal hubs
Affordable housing and slum redevelopment
Water supply, sewage, solid and liquid waste management
Lake conservation, clean energy, green buildings
Digital governance, e-approvals, and infrastructure tech

The focus is on sustainable and smart urbanisation. Projects worth ₹21,000 crore are already underway to streamline urban transport, and another ₹2,800 crore has been allocated for clean environment initiatives in urban areas.

Investment in housing sector

Experts say that there is a good possibility of investment in the housing sector in the state. More than 8.32 lakh affordable houses have been built in the affordable housing sector. 10 lakh new houses are being built in the state. An investment of ₹50,000 cr. will be made in this area.
