Real Estate Maharashtra:The Shinde Sena, the faction of the Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, has announced its first list of 45 candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections. Eknath Shinde will contest from the Kopri-Pachpakhadi Assembly constituency in Thane, a seat he has held since 2009.

The Shinde Sena has re-nominated most of the MLAs who supported Eknath Shinde during his revolt against the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in 2022. Notable among these is Deepak Kesarkar, who has been nominated from Sawantwadi, and Maharashtra Industries Minister Uday Samant, who will contest from the Ratnagiri Assembly seat.

Manisha Waikar, the wife of Mumbai North West Lok Sabha MP Ravindra Waikar, has been fielded from Jogeshwari East. In the recent Lok Sabha elections, Ravindra Waikar won by a narrow margin of just 48 votes, indicating the competitive nature of the constituency.
