The primary role of the committee is to review and enhance the work of the industries department, focusing on organizing tours and exhibitions, discussing MoUs, and generating investment and employment in the state.
The key members of the committee include Industries Minister Uday Samant, Industries Secretary P Anbalgan, MIDC CEO P Velrasu, Development Commissioner (Industries) Deependra Singh Kushwah, and Chief Advisor (Investments & Strategy) Kaustubh Dhavse.
The committee will organize foreign and domestic tours, discuss MoUs, review investment and employment generation, and discuss various schemes and policy outcomes.
Kaustubh Dhavse was appointed as Chief Advisor (Investments & Strategy) to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in July.
The review committee will meet every 15 days under the chairmanship of Industries Minister Uday Samant.
