The main objective of the MoU is to develop sustainable industrial and logistics parks in Maharashtra, focusing on modern infrastructure, advanced technology, and environmental sustainability.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Industries Secretary P Anbalagan, and Tuhin Parikh, Head of India Real Estate, among other key officials.
The proposed parks will feature eco-friendly infrastructure, renewable energy sources, efficient waste management systems, and smart city technologies, all designed to promote sustainability and operational efficiency.
The government has identified several strategic sites for the parks, ensuring easy access to major transportation routes and key markets, which will facilitate seamless logistics and supply chain operations.
The first phase of the project is expected to be completed within the next two to three years, with the government already initiating the process of acquiring land and conducting feasibility studies.
