The Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana (PMAY) scheme is a housing scheme launched by the Central government to provide affordable housing to the urban poor.
12,000 houses will be constructed for dabbawalas in Mumbai under the PMAY scheme.
The houses will be made available for ₹25 lakh.
The project will be implemented by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) under the PMAY scheme of the Central government.
The project will be completed within three years.
