A computerised lottery was conducted in four phases to ensure fair allocation of these homes and plots.

State Housing Minister Atul Save announced the Nakshatrwadi project during a visit to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. He highlighted that the new project will offer modern amenities, comparable to those found in private developments. This signifies a commitment to providing quality housing options for residents. Although the exact details of the amenities and the start date for construction of the 1,056 homes have not yet been announced, a bhoomipujan ceremony (groundbreaking ceremony) is expected to take place soon.
