In Pune, three men, aged between 18 and 25 years, were electrocuted near Z Bridge on the Mutha River around 3 am due to the rise in water level. District collector and District Disaster Management Authority chairman Suhas Diwase has declared a holiday for schools in Pune city and rural areas.

Given the severe weather conditions, citizens have been advised to be alert and to go out of the house only if necessary. The district authorities have warned of possible waterlogging in low-lying areas of Pune city.

Meanwhile, Delhi is set to experience sweltering conditions, with the maximum temperature expected at 39.05°C and a minimum of 30.05°C. Residents have been advised to prepare for a hot day and plan outdoor activities accordingly.
