MahaRERA stands for Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority. It is a regulatory body established to protect the rights of homebuyers and ensure transparency in the real estate sector in Maharashtra.
The new project registration certificates now include comprehensive details about each project development, such as the total built-up area, names and number of buildings, habitable floors, residential and non-residential units, and parking availability.
This change is important because it provides homebuyers with all essential preliminary details necessary for informed decision-making, ensuring their investments are safe and secure.

The meeting was attended by Commissioner Secretary Housing and Urban Development Department, Mandeep Kaur, and top officers from various departments.
