Real Estate Maharashtra:In a swift response to the recent tragic incident at Bhushi Dam, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Guardian Minister of Pune District, Ajit Pawar, has taken proactive measures to ensure tourist safety in the state. On 30th June, five people from the same family in Hadapsar lost their lives after being swept away by the overflowing waters of Bhushi Dam near Lonavala in Pune District.

Ajit Pawar has issued orders to all District Collectors and Senior Police Officers in Maharashtra to take preventive measures to avert such incidents in the future. Additionally, he announced that Rs 5 lakh in aid would be given to the families of the victims.

Hadapsar MLA Chetan Tupe had called for assistance for the families of the Bhushi Dam victims and the implementation of safety precautions at hazardous tourist spots. Ajit Pawar assured that funds will be made available through the Pune District Planning Committee to take measures to prevent such accidents.

The funds will be utilized to install preventive information boards, fencing, safety nets, and other safety measures at potentially dangerous locations. Actions are already being taken to put up information boards and implement security measures at popular tourist spots. Furthermore, instructions will be given to District Collectors and District Planning Officers in Maharashtra to ensure safety measures are taken even at remote and dangerous locations.

Ajit Pawar stated during the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly's Monsoon Session that the accident at Bhushi Dam was unfortunate, and the government is committed to taking all necessary steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
