The Sahakar Samwad portal is an online platform launched by Maharashtra's cooperation department to address grievances filed against housing societies. It aims to ensure transparency, accountability, and speedy redressal of complaints.
The Sahakar Samwad portal has achieved an 80% success rate in resolving complaints, with 7,470 out of 9,243 complaints resolved since its launch last year.
The portal covers 23 categories of complaints, including denial of membership, maintenance disputes, and delays in annual general meetings.
The online mechanism provided by the Sahakar Samwad portal has significantly reduced the need for residents to visit deputy registrar offices, making the complaint process more convenient and efficient.
The MSHF, in association with the cooperation, marketing, and textiles department, launched the Sahakar Samwad initiative to ensure transparency, accountability, and speedy redressal of grievances. It is a transformative step towards participatory governance.
