MahaRERA Clears 435 Projects, 32,981 Flats on Dussehra; Pune Leads

By GeoSquare News Desk · Published 2026-10-24

The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has approved 435 new housing projects across the state on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. These projects together comprise 32,981 flats, offering a significant supply boost to the residential market.

Pune city accounts for the largest share of these clearances, with 140 projects receiving the green signal. This reinforces Pune's position as a key growth driver in Maharashtra's real estate landscape.

Festive Season Boost

The approvals come during the festive season, a period traditionally considered favourable for property purchases. With RERA clearance, homebuyers can expect greater transparency and adherence to project timelines, which is crucial for informed decision-making.

MahaRERA's continued focus on project approvals is expected to enhance buyer confidence and support the state's ongoing urban development. The move is likely to benefit both end-users and investors looking for compliant housing options.
