The new format of the MahaRERA registration certificate includes crucial project details in bullet points for better readability. It provides information such as the project’s total built-up area, names and numbers of buildings and wings, total number of floors, and parking details.
MahaRERA introduced this new format to empower homebuyers by providing them with essential information in a clear and concise manner. This ensures that homebuyers can make informed decisions and verify legal details before making any transactions.
The certificate’s annexure will include comprehensive details such as the project’s total built-up area, names and numbers of buildings and wings, total number of habitable floors, total number of residential and non-residential units, Commencement Certificate (CC) showing construction approvals, and total number of parking spaces for different vehicle types.
Homebuyers can access this new information by reviewing the MahaRERA registration certificate and its annexure. Promoters are mandated to prominently display this certificate at their project site and on the project website. Additionally, a QR code containing the project’s essential preliminary information will be included in advertisements.
MahaRERA has taken several measures to protect homebuyers, including the introduction of Standardised Agreement for Sale and Allotment Letter, mentioning parking slot dimensions, and providing a list of amenities and facilities with delivery timelines. These measures aim to ensure transparency and accountability in the real estate sector.
