Real Estate Maharashtra:The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) established Conciliation Forums in January 2018 to expedite the resolution of homebuyers' grievances. Initially, 15 forums were set up, with 10 in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and five in Pune. These forums have since expanded to 52, and they have successfully redressed 1,749 grievances from homebuyers across the state.

The decisions made by the Conciliation Forums are upheld by MahaRERA, which has significantly boosted the platform's popularity. Currently, there are 533 active cases being heard across the forums. Out of the total 5,958 cases so far, 1,749 have been resolved amicably between homebuyers and developers, benefiting 32.36% of property purchasers.
