MahaRERA's Conciliation Forums have resolved 1,749 grievances out of a total of 5,958 cases, marking a success rate of 30%.
The conciliation forums were initially set up in 2018, with a fewer number of forums in the Mumbai and Pune regions.
There are currently 52 conciliation forums operational in Maharashtra, covering various cities including Nashik, Nagpur, Thane, Kalyan, Navi Mumbai, Palghar, Raigad, Vasai, and Mira Road.
The conciliation forums are mandated to resolve complaints within 60 days, and in exceptional cases, within 90 days.
If the settlement terms are not fulfilled, the complainant can seek further recourse from MahaRERA, ensuring that the grievance is not dismissed without the complainant's consent.
