MahaRERA's MahaCRITI Portal: A Game-Changer for Maharashtra's Real Estate Sector
Real Estate Pune:Mumbai, 4th September 2024 The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has unveiled its new website, MahaCRITI (Maha-Complaint and Regulatory Integrated Technology Implementation), which went live on September 1. To assist users in navigating the new platform, MahaRERA has made instructional videos available online.

In addition to these resources, MahaRERA has been conducting online training sessions since the launch, addressing queries from stakeholders. These sessions provide comprehensive guidance for various users, including complainants, lawyers, developers, promoters, and real estate agents. The training covers essential tasks such as filing complaints, registering new housing projects, updating project information, renewing registrations, and submitting progress reports.

So far, approximately 550 developers, 350 agents, and over 250 lawyers and complainants have participated in the training, benefiting from the hands-on guidance provided.

Since the website’s launch, 2,766 users have accessed MahaCRITI and updated their passwords. A total of 581 promoters have refreshed their information on the portal, 8 new projects have been registered, and 1 renewal application has been submitted. In the real estate agent community, 21 new registration applications and 6 renewal applications have been received, with 84 agents updating their details on the system. Additionally, 17 homebuyer complaints have been filed on the new platform.

MahaRERA's initiative is a significant step towards promoting transparency and accountability in the real estate sector. The new portal is designed to provide a user-friendly experience, enabling stakeholders to easily access information and services.
