MahaRERA's New Portal MahaCRITI Sees Over 2,700 Users, Offers Updates and Training
Real Estate Maharashtra:Mumbai The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority's (MahaRERA) new website Maha-Complaint and Regulatory Integrated Technology Implementation (MahaCRITI) has seen a significant uptake since its launch on September 1.

In all, 2,766 individuals have accessed the portal, with 581 promoters updating their information and 8 new projects registered. Additionally, one promoter has moved a renewal application.

The real estate agents' community has also shown interest in the new portal, with 21 applications received for new registration, 6 for renewal, and 84 agents updating their information. Furthermore, 17 complaints have been filed by homebuyers on the new website.

To ensure a smooth transition to the new portal, MahaRERA has been providing online training to stakeholders over the past two weeks. Around 550 developers, 350 agents, and over 250 lawyers' complainants have benefited from this training.

The training includes guidance for complainants, instructions for lawyers on how to file complaints, and details about the subsequent process. Developers, promoters, and their self-regulatory organisations are being trained on how to effectively use the website for routine tasks such as registering new housing projects, making corrections, renewing registrations, submitting quarterly and annual progress reports, and filing Form 4 upon project completion.

Real estate agents are also being guided on their routine tasks, such as registration, corrections, and renewals. Overall, assistance is being provided to all stakeholders to help resolve any issues they face while performing these routine tasks.

To facilitate effective browsing of the new portal, instructional videos have been posted online to guide users. Online training queries from stakeholders are being addressed, and the Authority is committed to providing support to all users.

MahaRERA's new portal MahaCRITI is a significant step towards improving transparency and efficiency in the real estate sector in Maharashtra. With its user-friendly interface and robust features, the portal is expected to benefit all stakeholders, including homebuyers, developers, and real estate agents.
